Siem Reap with Erica and Mike

We just got back from a fabulous visit to Cambodia and the most memorable Angkor Wat Temples.
Erica and Mike are great travel partners. We love Amok, Curry, pumpkin soup and were awed by the temples, friendly monks and sweet smiles of all of the people.
We were a bit worried about the overflowing banks of the river and felt terrible fo rso many of the people whose homes were completely under water due to the typhoon that hit us in Southeast Asia.

Already end of Sept!

Hi all,
John is in Tokyo at a conference and Erica Mike and I are flying off to Siam Reap to view Angkor Wat, take pics at sunrise and sunset, do a little service work, join a cooking class and I get to check off one more place on my bucket list!
All is well. The best news is that Erica is almost 17 weeks pregnant and baby Cali is active and thriving. Please keep Erica in your prayers, that she continues to have a healthy pregnancy.
Jim Adare was with us for a few days so we got to be tour guides. We continue to walk these beautiful hills and mountains behind our school. Are we in Switzerland or Korea?
Well, since we have cabbage kimchi served instead of lasagna (they look the same) ugh. We are definitely in Seoul. I just haven't acquired the taste yet or will ever..blessings, alice
